The Oval Owl will hold 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn (approximately 215-225 yds per skein) or a skein of fingering yarn and room for a small project.
Like the Yarn Owl, the Oval Owl has a center opening for yarn to pull through. The Oval Owl also has space for the yarn to pull out each side as well. Snaps close the Owl (no zippers to catch on the yarn!) The Oval Owl measures 8" long, 5" wide, and 6-1/2" tall.
With the side openings, the Oval Owl is the perfect bag for 2-at-a-time socks. Yarn can be pulled from both the center and the outside of the skein and guided out through the side openings. Two skeins or balls of yarn will also fit easily. There is plenty of room for the socks in progress as well!
The Oval Owl can be used for any small project from socks to cowls to scarves and is great for 2-color projects.
